Innovative Healthcare Project in Remote Villages
In the remote villages of the Limanska territorial community, 2 modular medical points are successfully operating. This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
The project was implemented thanks to cooperation with the International Medical Humanitarian Organization «Doctors Without Borders».
According to experts, they see 7-8 patients every day. Most of them come with high blood pressure, sleep disorders, and diabetes patients come to measure their sugar levels.
In such medical points, besides consulting a doctor, people can receive medication, referrals to specialists of the required profile, measure blood pressure, sugar levels, and perform other procedures.
Before the full-scale invasion in the Limanska territorial community, there were 12 outpatient clinics and 8 FAPs. Now only 5 remain, the others destroyed and damaged due to shelling by occupiers.
