Interview with Yuriy Rybchynsky: A Proud Grandfather
During an interview for the project «NAODINCI», the poet and People’s Artist of Ukraine, Yuriy Rybchynsky, expressed his pride in his grandchildren and shared some interesting details about their lives.
«One of my grandchildren is studying, and the other is working in television in Kyiv. My great-grandson, Levko, was born in Kyiv during the war and is now eight years old. I love my grandchildren very much. Two of them live in America, and I am especially proud of my grandson who excelled in a Ukrainian language exam after studying for only three months. He is now studying at the branch of Arizona State University in Kyiv. My son Yevhen is successfully engaged in poetry, and my elder grandson Mykita works on editing Komarov’s shows. The future looks bright as my other grandchildren pursue careers in IT and television,» shared Yuriy Rybchynsky.
Yuriy Rybchynsky and his wife, Olexandra, have one son — poet Yevhen Rybchynsky, who has four children.
