Housing Subsidy: What You Need to Know

Housing subsidy is a non-refundable targeted state social assistance for individuals living in residential premises who are unable to independently pay for housing and communal services, management, and utility expenses, as well as for the purchase of household fuel. The subsidy is granted based on the average monthly income per person in the household and is paid to individuals who pay more than the specified mandatory payment for communal services.

How to Apply for a Housing Subsidy

To receive a housing subsidy, individuals registered in a residential premises or renting accommodation under a lease agreement or VPO can apply. The application can be submitted in person to the service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the CNAP, authorized officials of the executive body of the city, town, village council, or sent by mail to the territorial offices of the PFU. Also, electronic services can be used through the web portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the mobile application «Pension Fund,» or the unified portal of state services «Diya.»

To submit an application, it is necessary to provide documents, including an application and a declaration of income and expenses of individuals seeking the granting of a housing subsidy.
