Two out of five missiles that Russian occupiers fired at Kharkiv on February 7 were preliminarily identified as North Korean-made, the head of the investigative department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Serhiy Bovinov, said on Facebook.
«Two out of five missiles fired at Kharkiv in the morning are North Korean-made,» he said.
According to Bovinov, metal fragments of ballistic missile explosives were collected in the industrial area.
«Initial conclusions of experts indicate that these are North Korean HVASON 11ga (KN-23) missiles,» noted the head of the investigative department.
Massive attack on Ukraine on February 7
As reported by UNIAN, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine on the morning of February 7. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, stated that 44 targets were destroyed by the air defense forces: 29 warheads and 15 drones.
During the air attack, Russia used 64 air attack means. Our air defense forces shot down: 26 cruise missiles X-101/X-555/X-55; 3 cruise missiles «Kalibr;» and 15 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed-136/131 type. Ukrainian fighter aircraft, air defense missile troops, and mobile air defense groups participated in countering the Russian terror.
As a result of the missile strike in Kyiv, 4 people were killed and 40 were injured. In the Kharkiv region, according to the Regional State Administration, hits were recorded in the Slobidsky district, where there is damage to non-residential infrastructure.
