Successful Week for Ukrainian Air Defense Forces
During the past week, from July 13 to 19, the Air Defense of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed 154 reconnaissance and attack assets of Russian forces. In addition, Ukrainian military prevented the execution of over 5,000 tasks by enemy UAVs of the «wing» type and over 3,000 fpv drones. Also, the air defense fighters of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed six cruise missiles X-101/555.
This was reported on Telegram by the commander of the Ground Forces, General Oleksandr Pavlyuk, emphasizing that the units of air defense and electronic warfare continue to successfully defend the sky over Ukraine.
Regarding the downed enemy drones, according to Pavlyuk:
- UAV Shahed-131/136 — 12 units;
- UAV Orlan-10/30 — 11 units;
- UAV Zala — 40 units;
- UAV Lancet — 35 units;
- UAV Supercam — 8 units;
- UAV Privit-82 — 27 units;
- Unknown UAVs — 15 units.
«In conditions of active hostilities, we successfully eliminate a significant number of enemy tactical UAVs, including fpv drones and ‘wing’ drones, using various means of electronic warfare,» added Pavlyuk.
Separately, the commander of the Ground Forces praised the high professionalism of the crews of the Air Defense of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General-Horunzhy Mark Bezruchko.
