Ukrainian Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska Announces Restrictions for Citizens Evading Military Registration Updates
Ukrainian Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska has announced that citizens who evade updating their military registration documents will have restricted access to administrative services. He made this statement in a video interview for the YouTube channel «No one will watch this.»
According to him, the law on administrative services allows for the requirement of military documents from citizens when applying for any service. Malyuska believes that this will help the state identify individuals who previously evaded updating their information.
The Minister emphasized that this practice will be applied more and more frequently, but no extensive reform is planned, as the relevant possibility is already provided for in the legislation.
It is worth reminding that at the end of April 2024, Ukrainian consular services were restricted for Ukrainian conscripts residing abroad. In May, it was announced that this service could be obtained with a military ID card or a certificate of assignment to a conscription district.
