President Zelenskyy: Kharkiv Operation Aims to Weaken Ukrainian Forces
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the entire Kharkiv operation of Russian forces is an attempt to weaken Ukrainian forces along the entire front line and to strengthen Russian propaganda aimed at world leaders. He made this statement in his evening video address, as reported by UNN.
«In fact, the entire Kharkiv operation by the Russians is aimed at weakening Ukrainian forces along the front line and at the same time strengthening Russian propaganda — propaganda directed at world leaders,» Zelenskyy said.
The President also noted the current situation on the front line: «Our military are holding the defense on the Kharkiv directions: Volchansk, Lypcy, Kupiansk. We are holding back Russian pressure. Thank you to every brigade, every unit.»
Zelenskyy emphasized that significant attention is also being paid to the Donetsk directions, especially to Pokrovsk, where the fiercest battles are currently taking place.
