Fuel sold without receipts at gas stations in Odessa region, collaborating with aggressor state

Controversy Surrounding Petromol Gas Stations

According to the report of the Center for Public Investigations, the Petromol gas station network operates in the region, with 15 gas stations mainly located near Odessa and on the roads leading to the unrecognized Transnistria.

Reviews of Petromol gas stations on websites have a low rating — only 2 out of 5 possible points. Residents of Odessa complain not only about the quality of fuel but also about the inability to pay by card, as all payments are accepted only in cash.

Customers are immediately informed that only cash payments are accepted, and fiscal receipts are not provided. The service is usually provided by just one staff member, despite the large number of customers at Petromol gas stations due to their low fuel prices.

The absence of non-cash payments and receipts suggests that the network may be trading fuel without the necessary documentation. The Bureau of Economic Security has been aware of violations by the Petromol network since 2021, although the criminal case is still in the pre-trial investigation stage.

The gas stations are owned by the Vitkov family, with Petar Vitkov owning «Inter Oil» and his brother Sergey Vitkov being a co-founder of «Vitla-PSV».
