Explosion in Dniprovskyi district apartment
On the evening of April 5, an explosion of a grenade was heard in one of the apartments in the AN Dniprovskyi district, according to «Dnipro Operativnyi», citing its sources.
Alcohol-fueled argument leads to tragedy
It turned out that a 39-year-old man, who was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, was arguing with a woman. During the conflict, he took out a grenade, which led to the explosion.
Injuries and aftermath
The man sustained multiple injuries and lost his left hand, after which he was hospitalized. The 30-year-old woman only had a small scratch on her left hand and refused medical assistance. In another room of the apartment, there was the 68-year-old mother of the man, who was unharmed. The explosion also damaged cars parked near the house.
Investigation ongoing
Law enforcement officers were working at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
