The Biathlon Federation of Ukraine Announces New Head Coaches
The Biathlon Federation of Ukraine has announced the appointment of new head coaches for the men’s and women’s teams for the upcoming season. Changes in the coaching staffs of the teams for the new competitive year were announced at the conference following the 2023/24 season.
Nadiia Belova to Lead Men’s Team
Nadiia Belova has been appointed as the head coach of the men’s team, replacing Yuriy Sanitra. Alongside Belova, Alexey Kravchenko, Dmitry Ivasenko, and Alexander Artyuk will work with the team, while Roman Prima will work with Team B. Belova, who has previously coached the Ukrainian team, is returning to this position after a break.
Nikolay Zots Continues to Lead Women’s Team
Nikolay Zots will remain the head coach of the women’s team, supported by Sergey Zotz, Oleg Merkushin, Alexey Petrenko, and Roman Leibyuk. This coaching staff will work with Teams A and B in preparation for the 2026 Olympics.
