According to the prosecutor’s office, during the occupation of Volchansk, two individuals were involved in illegal activities related to gas supply:
Accused #1:
One of the accused led the illegally created enterprise «Gas Service» and received 55 thousand Russian rubles for his work.
Accused #2:
The second criminal took on the position of chief engineer at the same enterprise and was paid 48 thousand Russian rubles.
Both individuals organized the work of their subordinates, issued orders, and signed gas supply-related documents. They also provided gas network maps of the Kharkiv region to representatives of the Russian Federation.
The prosecutor’s office stated that the Russians used these maps to adjust shelling, obstruct gas supply restoration, and set up engineering barriers and minefields.
An indictment has been approved and sent to court, charging the two individuals under Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (cooperation with the aggressor state). They could face imprisonment for a term of 10 to 12 years.
