Elena Pchilka, who won the #HALLI 2_0 project competition, which is a nationwide incubator for supporting and implementing social innovations at the local level, received $5,000. With this money, the library purchased about 300 books of various genres and arranged a reading space divided into zones.
Library offers activities for all ages
Regularly, the library holds exercises, master classes, and art therapy sessions for children. Library staff help children prepare for school, complete homework, and teach the basics of computer literacy. Today, the library has its regular readers ranging in age from 5 to 80 years old.
