Rescuers save a hedgehog with burnt spines
Rescuers from Donetsk region saved a hedgehog with burnt spines during a fire extinguishing operation in the city of Slavyansk. The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk region reported that the rescuers saved the hedgehog from the flames and provided it with water.
Increased risk for animals
The State Emergency Service in Donetsk region warns that as warmer weather approaches, the number of cases of burning dry vegetation in the region significantly increases. During these fires, whole families of hares, birds, and other animals perish, highlighting the importance of fire prevention and safety measures.
