Forest fires in Donetsk region: rescuers have controlled the fire

Rescue Efforts in Donetsk Region:

Over the past week, rescuers in the Donetsk region have extinguished 15 fires in natural ecosystems, leading to the destruction of approximately 570 hectares of forest. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Donetsk region.

Lymanivschyna Fire Outbreaks:

At the beginning of last week, the enemy shelled the outskirts of Lymanivschyna, causing five fire outbreaks in the pine forests on the territory of the Lymanivsky forestry enterprise. For over 10 hours, firefighters, together with forestry and representatives of the security forces, fought the raging flames and extinguished the fire covering a total area of 470 hectares.

Kramatorsk District Fires:

In addition, since May 6, rescuers have suppressed 14 fires in natural ecosystems in the Kramatorsk district. The total area of the fires was about 100 hectares. Currently, rescuers continue to monitor the situation, conducting aerial reconnaissance of the Lymanivsky forestry enterprise area to detect possible fire outbreaks. There is no threat to populated areas.
