Two Zaporizhia residents sentenced to 11 years in prison for robbery
Two individuals from Zaporizhia have been sentenced to 11 years in prison for committing a robbery, as reported by the Zaporizhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the report, the two previously convicted individuals stole property from a resident of Dnipro. In April 2023, they met the victim near a hostel in Zaporizhia and offered him a place to stay overnight in a rented house. Once inside, the attackers brutally beat the man with various objects, demanding money and PIN codes for bank cards. The victim was left unconscious, robbed of his belongings, and abandoned on the street.
As a result of the assault, the victim spent over 15 days in the hospital, with nine days spent in a coma. Both individuals were found guilty of robbery and sentenced to 11 years in prison, along with the confiscation of their property.
