Euro 2024: Ukraine National Team Participates in the Championship for the Fourth Time
Every four years, the best national teams in Europe compete for the title at the Euros. The 17th championship of the continent will take place in 2024. The Ukrainian national team is participating in this event for the fourth time.
What is Euro 2024
The UEFA European Championship is the main competition for national teams organized by UEFA. It is held every 4 years, in between the World Cup championships. The exception was Euro 2020, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The first Euro took place in 1960 as the European Nations’ Cup. France hosted the tournament, and the final match was held in Paris at the «Parc des Princes» stadium. From 1968, the tournament was officially named the «UEFA European Football Championship».
