Spanish tennis player withdraws from Wimbledon due to back injury

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina withdraws from Wimbledon

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, currently ranked 36th in the world, has made the tough decision to withdraw from the Wimbledon tournament due to a back injury. The Spanish player was set to face Sebastian Korda in the first round, but lucky loser Giovanni Mpetshi-Perricard from France will now take his place.

This season, Davidovich Fokina only participated in one grass court tournament, the ATP 500 in London, where he was defeated by Alejandro Tabilo in the opening round. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the court soon.
