A Tragic Fire Incident in Novosilky Village
A fire recently broke out in a private residential house in Novosilky village, Kyiv region, claiming the life of a 95-year-old woman. Two other women sustained first and second degree burns as a result of the incident.
Possible Cause of the Fire
Police in the Kyiv region suspect that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit in the solar panels installed on the house. However, the State Emergency Service is yet to provide final conclusions on the exact cause of the fire.
Legal Action Taken
Following the tragic event, investigators from the Vyshhorod Police Department have launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation aims to determine if any violation of fire safety regulations or technogenic safety requirements contributed to the loss of life in this devastating incident.
