Odessa football club «Chornomorets» suffers defeat against «Minai»
Odessa football club «Chornomorets» suffered another defeat in the Ukrainian championship, losing to the rural club «Minai» with a score of 2:0. The game took place at the opponents’ stadium during the 26th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
According to sports commentator Vitaliy Khemiya from «Dumska», the Odessa team struggled to recover from previous losses. They conceded the first goal in the 6th minute of the match and failed to equalize despite numerous opportunities to score. On the 63rd minute, they let in another goal, securing the opponent’s victory.
The sailors missed several promising chances, with players like Andriy Shtohryn and Maksym Bragaru unable to find the net. Despite head coach Roman Hryhorchuk making substitutions, the desired result was not achieved.
After the defeat, «Chornomorets» remains in ninth place in the championship table, while «Minai» has improved their standing. The team faces important matches against «Shakhtar» on May 1 and 5, which could impact their position in the tournament.
