Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing, has announced the postponement of the release of the Nothing Phone (3) until 2025.

CMF Phone 1 Set To Launch Soon

Meanwhile, the company’s sub-brand CMF has confirmed the launch of its first smartphone, named CMF Phone 1. The promotional images allow us to imagine what to expect from this future device.

Unique Design And Features

In a tweet, CMF mentioned that their first smartphone will have a unique design that utilizes innovations and intricately crafted details from Nothing. CMF is focusing on a segment that is often ignored by other manufacturers. The CMF Phone 1 will be an entry point into the company’s product ecosystem.

Leaked Specifications and Features

The promotional images confirm that the smartphone will not have a transparent back panel or Glyph interface. Instead, the device’s back panel will be made of orange textured leather material. On the lower right side of the device, a wheel similar to that used in the Neckband Pro is visible. The functionality of this wheel has not yet been revealed.

According to leaked specifications, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP rear camera, a 16MP front camera, a Dimensity 7200 chip, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. The expected price of the device will range from $249 to $279. The launch may take place as soon as next month.
