The first stage of the All-Ukrainian military-patriotic game «Sokil» («Dzhura») has recently ended, with more than 80 high school students from educational institutions of the Buska city council participating. It was a real test for their mind, body, and strength of will, even when the air alarm sounded. After its announcement, all the participants quickly went down to the shelter with the instructors, where they continued their work.
10 Groups, One Goal
There were 10 groups in the game of the older age group. Although we use the word «game,» it was far from childish entertainment. The young patriots demonstrated their skills in various competitions and military-sports, historical, cultural-intellectual, and patriotic trials. They rushed around, simulating grenade throws, set up shooting ranges with pneumatic rifles, demonstrated physical fitness, navigation skills in the field, using them to search for enemy objects, marched in formation, provided first aid to the wounded. They also engaged in intellectual battles, showcasing their knowledge of Ukrainian history.
