A Woman in Transcarpathian Region Faces Legal Consequences for Ignoring Military Summons
A woman of military age in the Transcarpathian region received a military summons and warning, but chose to ignore them. The incident was classified as evasion of military registration by the Mukachevo district court. According to court documents, the woman has a secondary education in the field of nursing.
Despite being informed about the need for military registration and a medical examination, she failed to appear at the territorial center without providing valid reasons. During the court hearing, she admitted her guilt, opted for a simplified trial, and requested a punishment in the form of a fine.
The court considered her willingness to take responsibility into account and imposed a fine of 5100 hryvnias, stating that she can be rehabilitated without isolation from society.
