In Odessa, a brutal murder shocks the community
In a tragic incident that occurred at the end of last year on Baltiyska Doroha, a drunken man viciously killed his neighbor by inflicting over 20 stab wounds. The 30-year-old victim died on the spot from hemorrhagic shock.
To hide his crime, the perpetrator tried to cover up by dragging the body to a car trunk and dumping it into the Khadzhibey Lagoon. However, thanks to the prompt action of law enforcement officers, the body was found near the shore on the same day.
The arrested man confessed to the crime, stating that the victim had insulted his sister, sparking a deadly conflict. The court found the 55-year-old man guilty and sentenced him to nine and a half years in prison for his heinous act.
