Employees of the municipal service «Zelenbud» raised a new State Flag of Ukraine over Kharkiv, replacing the one that was damaged by the wind.
«Due to worsening weather conditions, workers of the Kharkiv City Municipal Enterprise ‘Kharkivzelenbud’ replaced the state flag on the main flagpole of the city. According to the enterprise, the flag was damaged by strong winds,» the press service of the Kharkiv City Council reported.
Earlier, the city hall had warned that the flag had been slightly damaged and taken down. The city hall also reminded of the characteristics of the largest flag in Kharkiv: the size of the flag is 22.5 by 15 meters, and the height of the flagpole is 101 meters.
