An incident with a gas explosion in Khmelnytskyi
An incident with a gas explosion occurred in Khmelnytskyi, as a result of which a man born in 1978 received burns and was hospitalized. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The incident took place on June 22 on the first floor of a multi-storey building on Roman Shukhevych Street. A call about the explosion was made to the emergency services «101» in the afternoon, after which a team of rescuers arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the explosion was a gas leak from a household gas cylinder. The man with burns was hospitalized at the Khmelnytskyi Regional Hospital to receive necessary medical assistance.
Law enforcement agencies have begun an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.
