The government of Ukraine allocates 1 billion hryvnias for medical facility shelters

The government of Ukraine has announced the allocation of 1 billion hryvnias for the construction of shelters for medical facilities in the frontline areas. This information was published in a statement by the government on Telegram, as reported by RBC-Ukraine.

According to the announcement, the regional military-civilian administrations are to provide information on projects ready for implementation in hospitals by May 1, and transfer this data to the Ministry of Health by May 15.

The Ministry of Health plans to form a commission for the final selection of projects and submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the allocation of subsidies.

It is noted that the funds received will be used for the construction, restoration, major repairs of shelters, anti-radiation shelters, and dual-purpose structures in municipal hospitals.
