«Heat and Power Plant «Teploenergo» is preparing to disconnect debtors: deadlines and warnings»

The government has allowed to disconnect debtors for communal services, and the communal enterprise «Teploenergo» warns that they have a month to restructure the debt. «Dnipro Operative» reports that residents of house No. 46 on Bolshaya Dievskaya Street owe almost two million hryvnias for heating. The company has already posted notices of the debt in the entrances.

Restructuring Agreement

Assistant Director of the communal enterprise, Anastasiya Sukhina, says that debtors can sign a restructuring agreement within a month. Otherwise, the enterprise will be forced to stop supplying heat and defend its rights in court.

Technical Difficulties

The senior master of heating unit No. 3, Roman Yagmurov, emphasizes that when disconnecting from heat, the entrances will be cut off, as it is technically impossible to disconnect only one debtor. One of the residents of the house, Vitaliy Moskalenko, claims that he regularly pays for heating and urges debtors to enter into agreements so that those who pay regularly do not suffer.

Debt Restructuring

Last year, 188 agreements were concluded for debt restructuring for heat supply in the amount of about 4 million 231 thousand hryvnias, and at the beginning of this year already 20 agreements for half a million hryvnias. Anastasiya Sukhina hopes that the warnings posted by the communal enterprise will encourage citizens to resolve the issue peacefully through the enterprise.
