The lilac flowering season in Kyiv
The lilac flowering season is starting in Kyiv. The first flowers have already appeared in several capital parks, as reported by the Department of Environmental Protection and Climate Change Adaptation of the Kyiv City State Administration.
In particular, lilacs are blooming in the following locations:
- Otradny Park in the Solomianskyi district
- Desnianskyi Park in the Desnianskyi district
- Zhmerynska Street in the Sviatoshynskyi district
- Boulevard along Ivan Mykolaichuk Street in the Dniprovskyi district
- Square on Yordanska Street, 9-E in the Obolonskyi district
The Department noted that the duration of lilac flowering can vary from several weeks to several months depending on the variety.
According to «Kyivzelenbud» communal enterprise, lilacs will soon bloom in other parts of the city as well.
