Lozova invites students to medical education on a local budget

Shortage of Doctors in Lozova

There is a noticeable shortage of doctors of various specialties in Lozova. The local medical association has offered future school graduates to study at medical universities at the expense of the local budget with subsequent employment. The head of the territorial medical association, Yuriy Shevchenko, emphasized that about 40 doctors of various specialties are still needed, including neurologists, pediatricians, neonatologists, surgeons, and traumatologists.

Support Program for Young Specialists

The program to support young specialists includes payment of the contract from the local budget after the graduate enters the medical university for the specialty needed in Lozova. After graduation, young doctors are provided with housing, and funds are allocated from the budget for its renovation. The medical institution also provides resources to support young specialists.

Shevchenko noted that the community has newly renovated maternity, neurological, and pediatric departments, and currently, the rehabilitation department is undergoing renovation.
