Prosecutors transferred land worth a million hryvnias to communal ownership

15 land plots valued at 1,262,000 hryvnias returned to communal ownership in Khmelnytskyi region

The prosecutor’s office of Khmelnytskyi region recently reported that 15 agricultural land plots, totaling 30 hectares in area, have been returned to communal ownership. These lands were illegally privatized by individuals in violation of Ukrainian land laws, as one person is not permitted to own more than 2 hectares of agricultural land.

Following legal action taken by the prosecutor’s office, court rulings were made to recover these land plots. As a result, the courts have enforced these decisions and the land has now been returned to communal ownership. This marks a significant step towards restoring legality in land relations within the region.
