Russian President Calls Up Reservists for Military Training

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on calling up reservists for military training this year. The relevant document was published on the official portal of the Russian Federation on Friday.

Citizens who are in reserve are subject to call-up for military training in the Armed Forces, National Guard troops, rescue military formations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, state security agencies, and the Federal Security Service.

It is worth noting that two out of the five points of the decree are classified as «for official use only.»

It is worth recalling that on December 1, 2023, Putin signed a decree to increase the personnel of the Armed Forces of Russia from 2.039 million to 2.209 million.
