Information about record cargo turnover for the first five months of 2024 has appeared on the Facebook page of the Administration of Ukrainian Sea Ports. During this period, Ukrainian seaports handled 45.8 million tons of cargo, almost twice the figures of the previous year.
«We continue to work on expanding the range of goods and restoring container and ferry transport. With favorable safety conditions, we plan to reach the average pre-war level of cargo turnover,» the statement said. Earlier, it was reported that during the 9 months of operation of the Ukrainian corridor, almost 1,600 vessels exported 45 million tons of cargo from the ports of Odesa, mainly agricultural products.
