Ukraine’s Agricultural Land Market Continues to Thrive
According to Oboz.ua and agronews.ua, the prices of agricultural land in Ukraine increased by 11.2% in the first quarter of 2024, reaching an average weighted price per hectare of 42 thousand UAH. The market capitalization also saw impressive growth, rising by 202.5 billion UAH.
The number of deals for the purchase and sale of agricultural land during this period increased by 7% to 25.7 thousand agreements. Analysts are optimistic about the future of the agricultural land market in Ukraine, despite ongoing challenges, such as the war. They see a potential for attracting an additional $25 billion in funding, highlighting the market’s successful development.
