Massive Attack on Zaporizhzhia

Overnight on June 1, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia regional military-administrative organization.

Damage and Response

As a result of enemy shelling, an energy facility, over 20 residential buildings, and social facilities were damaged. Fortunately, no people were injured.

Traffic Update

Currently, the traffic is temporarily blocked near the Dnipro Hydro Power Plant. The detour is through the arch bridge and Khortytsya Island (Serhiy Tyulenin Street — Sich Street — Taganska Street), as well as through new bridges and the Khortytskiy district. All city services are involved in eliminating the consequences. Public services, together with representatives of district administrations, are working to clean up the aftermath of the missile strikes.
