Robbery Incident in Cherkasy
In one of the cases that occurred in early April this year, a resident of Kramatorsk arrived in Cherkasy, where he did not have a permanent place of residence. After consuming alcohol, the attacker decided to rob a man he saw on the street.
He caught up with the man, knocked him to the ground and hit him several times with his hand and foot on the head, after which he took his mobile phone, bag with personal belongings and jacket, and fled the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he received medical assistance.
Law enforcement quickly arrested the attacker. He is currently in custody.
If he is found guilty, he faces a punishment of imprisonment from eight to fifteen years and confiscation of property.
