The Street of White Angels
The residents of Konstantinovka renamed one of the longest streets in the city, Internatsionalna Street, in honor of the police unit «White Angel,» which saves people on the front line. This was reported by the police of the Donetsk region.
It is noted that local residents proposed this name during a public discussion on the renaming of 176 streets in the city. The administration of the Konstantinovka community supported this choice.
The name honors the heroism and dedication of the members of the «White Angels» unit, who risk their lives to save others.
During an online vote, this proposal received the most votes out of 7 options. 31.9% of the participants voted for it. After processing the voting results by a special commission of experts, the street was given a new name — the Street of White Angels.
