Andriy Totovitskiy Returns to Shakhtar Donetsk
Midfielder Andriy Totovitskiy has returned to Shakhtar Donetsk after the end of his loan spell at Kolos, signing a contract with the club until June 30, 2025.
The 31-year-old player took part in six matches for Kolos, but on March 2, during a game against Rukh, he suffered an injury and was unable to continue playing.
Currently, the midfielder is continuing his recovery under the supervision of Shakhtar’s medical staff.
«I am showing signs of old injuries, so it is still too early to definitively say when I will return to action. But I am optimistic and hope that I have not yet said my last word in football,» Totovitskiy said in a comment for Sport.ua.
Throughout his career, Totovitskiy has played for Shakhtar, Kolos, Mariupol, Zorya, Desna, and Belgian club Kortrijk. He also has 13 appearances for the youth and U-21 national teams of Ukraine.
