Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umjer said that Ukraine is ready for any possible outcome of the US elections, including the victory of former President Donald Trump. He made this statement during the annual Security Forum in Aspen, Colorado, as reported by the AP.

«We believe in the leadership of the United States and expect America to support strong partners and allies,» Umjer said.
Expansion of Mobilization Efforts
The Minister of Defense added that Ukraine is actively expanding its mobilization efforts to deploy more troops to the front line, with over 4 million already registered, and continues to fight to regain control over the lost territories.
Main Goal: Return of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
Umjer also emphasized that one of the main goals remains the return of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which was captured by Russian forces at the beginning of the conflict. «Regardless of the results of the US elections, we will find an appropriate solution,» the Minister of Defense stressed.
Focus on Protecting Peaceful Population
Umjer also highlighted that Ukraine cannot afford not to target Russian airbases and other military targets to stop Russian strikes on cities and infrastructure. «We are focusing on military targets to ensure the protection of the peaceful population of Ukraine,» Umjer concluded.
