Max Brovchenko: A Rising Star
Max Brovchenko, a 12-year-old boy from Berdyansk, has defied the odds and captured the hearts of readers in the Czech Republic with his debut book «Planet A». Despite facing his own challenges as someone with autism spectrum disorder, Max’s creative talent shines through in his writing.
«I imagined life on another planet and wondered if our world could be the same,» shared Max, reflecting on the inspiration behind his book.
In February 2022, Max celebrated the successful release of «Planet A» in Czechia, marking a milestone in his literary career. The book was first presented in Dnipro, where it garnered attention from international funds and organizations. Thanks to the efforts of the «Behind the Glass» fund, «Planet A» was translated and published in Czechia, gaining popularity among readers and critics alike.
Not content with just a printed edition, an audiobook of «Planet A» was also released in Czechia, narrated by the renowned Czech actor Jan Knihensky. Max was invited to the book presentation in Czechia, where his work received widespread acclaim.
