Graduation Celebration at Silver Age University in Chortkiv
75 students have successfully completed their studies at the Silver Age University, which operates at the Palace of Children and Youth in Chortkiv, and celebrated their graduation recently. This exciting news was shared on the Facebook page of the Chortkiv City Council.
Wide Range of Disciplines
This year, students had the opportunity to choose from eight interesting disciplines, including smartphones and computers, English for beginners, the history of Ukrainian music, Nordic walking, health exercises, handicrafts, painting, and photography skills.
Exhibition and Award Ceremony
The graduation festivities kicked off with an exhibition showcasing the best works of the students at the Kateryna Rubchakova Cultural Services Center. This was followed by an official ceremony where certificates of completion were awarded to the graduates.
New Learning Space
In his welcoming speech, Chortkiv Mayor Volodymyr Shmatko expressed his delight at the success of the students and shared some exciting news. He announced that starting from the next semester, students will study in newly renovated premises at the cultural and integration center on Stepan Bandera Street, thanks to generous donors. He emphasized the importance of continuing education for seniors and encouraged more individuals to join the Silver Age University community.
