Updated procedures at the TCK: Clarification of Citizen Data

Head of Mobilization Department Addresses Concerns About Recruitment

Volodymyr Novosadliy, the head of the mobilization department in Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, recently addressed concerns about the recruitment process in an interview with «Evening Kyiv». He emphasized that employees of the recruitment centers are not authorized to «pack» people into vans, as detaining individuals is the responsibility of the National Police.

According to Novosadliy, representatives of the recruitment centers can approach individuals on the street or at a checkpoint and offer them to come to the center to clarify their details. If a person refuses or avoids conscription, the police are called to handle the situation and draw up protocols for any violations that occur.

Novosadliy stressed that citizens have a responsibility to clarify their data during the state of war, but recruitment centers are not authorized to forcibly detain individuals. Instead, it is the duty of the citizen to come to the center and provide the necessary documents. If they are not subject to mobilization, they can clarify their status and avoid any unnecessary conflicts.

As Ukraine continues to face challenges due to ongoing conflicts, it is important for citizens to understand their duties and obligations during times of war. By cooperating with the authorities and following the legal procedures, everyone can contribute to the country’s defense efforts in a peaceful and law-abiding manner.
