Ukrainian tennis players in French Open qualification
Ukrainian tennis players Katarina Zavatska (No. 201 WTA) and Yuliya Starodubtseva (No. 144 WTA) began their performances in the French Open qualification with a match against each other.
In the first round of the qualification, Starodubtseva claimed victory, winning in two sets.

The match was interrupted twice due to rain.
It was their first meeting and Yuliya’s debut in the qualification round of a Grand Slam clay court tournament.
In the next round, Starodubtseva will face either Lanlana Tararudee (No. 200 WTA) or Yu Xiaodi (No. 213 WTA).
